I dag er Gullungen min 19 år, så i gårkveld MÅTTE jeg lage kort.

Da sliter jeg! Satt og prøve og prøvde, uten at jeg ble fonøyd i det hele tatt.

Så fant jeg ut at jeg ville prøve min nye primasjablong som min skjønne Oslovenninnen hadde kommet med tidligere på dagen.

Var fornøyd med bakgrunnen og fant småbiter og diecuts som lå rundt meg på scrappepulten.

Ganske fornøyd, men ikke til Gullungen.

 

 

Så begynte jeg å tenke London/reisetema og da ble resultet sånn:

Water is the subject at Simon says stamp and show this week.

 

I have scrapped a picture of my dughter from last summer - and sadly - it has been a lot of rain the  last summers.

Hope this summer will bee filled with sunshine (It can rain at the nigths...for the nature)

 

The tekst is about the raincote witch a friend of my son started to cal "the family raincote" beacouse my husbound and my children uses it when they need a raincote.

At Simon Says Stamp and Show the challange this week says: The stamp you love (but don´t use).

I can just pick and choose in my stampcollection - my lovely stamps are nearly never in use.

 

The stamp I have used on this layout is an old Atum leafs journalingstamp.

I have also used a bacground stamp I bought last year.

 

The photo is of my son and his classmates selebrating his 7th years birthsday.

Toini er gjestedesigner hos Thats just so cute denne måneden.

Hun har laget en flott blomstertoturial og vil gjerne se hjemmelagede blomster på prosjektene våre denne gangen.

Hun vil også at vi skal ha med tre mønsterark og at prosjektet skal ha noe med høytid å gjøre.

 

Dette med høytid ble litt av en utfordring, for det jeg fant med temaet i min bildebunke,

var dette bildet fra 17. mai 1978.

Bildet ble fremkallet da jeg fremdeles scrappet 12x12 loer og brukte mye store bilder.

Dessuten er det veldig mye farger i bildet....
All pynten er hjemmelaget - blomstene med utgangspunktet i TimHoltzdies og filmhjulet i en Marianne klokkedies.

On Simon Says Stamp and Show  this week the challenge is to

incorporate some metal into our projects.

 

I have scrapped a page of my doughter who is visiting the zoo and have found her self a new little friend.

 

I have used homemade metalflowers, a metalspider and som other metal thindg who were laying on my desk.

 

 

 

Now I would like to show you how I made the metalflowers:

 

 

I have used:
Tim Holtzdie

Beer can

A pair of scissors

Thick foam

Embossingtool

A black Promarker

Baby wiper



Abrasive paper

 

First I cut the top and the bottum of the beer can.

Then I use the Tim Holtzdie and rest of the beer can to cut out a metalflower:

 

 

I use a pair of scissors to cut the petals a little further into the center of the flower.

 

I turn the flower - put it on the thick foam - and use the biggest end on my embossingtool to  press it in sircles in the senter of the flower, then I do the same with the petals.

Then I turn the flower back again and shape it with my fingers and nails.

 

I turn the flower again and use the thin end on my embossingtool to press several spots down in the senter of the flower and to make lines on the petals.

Then I turn the flower with the right side up and color it with my black Promaker.

 

When the flower is colored I polich it with a dry babywiper to tone down the color.

Then I use abrasive paper to bring out some metal texsture of the flower.

 

And her you have the complete flower :o)

Alltid koselig å treffe andre scrappedamer, men produktiviteten min var ikke stor.

Fikk laget en lo av min kjære i Nice. Falt for fargene på det terracottafargede bygget bak ham.
